8 Fall-Worthy Apple Cider Cocktails

Posted by on

In case you haven’t heard, it’s almost fall—the temperatures are dropping, the leaves are changing, and beverage choices are adjusting with the season! And I’m not just talking about the pumpkin spice lattes craze...

I’m talking about apple cider!

After all, it’s apple picking season, and there’s definitely an ample supply of apple cider to go around.

But what’s all the buzz about apple cider, anyway?

Also known as sweet cider or soft cider, apple cider is an unfiltered, unsweetened, non-alcoholic beverage made from apples (not to be confused with hard cider, which is the alcoholic version!).

Psst...did we mention that alcohol pairs well with Deckd?

But that non-alcoholic part we mentioned earlier? That’s about to change when you take a peek at these boozy beverages.

So, in the spirit of fall fast-approaching, I’ve wrangled up eight of my all-time favorite apple cider cocktails:

1. Apple Cider Margarita by Creative Culinary

Proof that margaritas should never limit themselves to summer! This fall-tastic spritzer has a hint of ginger and orange to warm your spirits as the temps drop.

2. Apple Cider Mimosas by The Cookie Rookie

A little bubbly never hurt nobody! I love this mimosa because it’s perfect for brunch on a chilly fall morning.

3. Cider Lowball by Vicki Arkoff

Bourbon + apples. Can it get any more autumn than this? Celebrate National Bourbon Month (yes, it’s a real thing!) with this fall-worthy staple.

4. Apple Cider Old-Fashioned by Completely Delicious

Completely Delicious describes this treat as “a classic cocktail with a fun fall twist!” Who could argue with that? This super cozy beverage is a little sweet and a lot of fun.

5. Hot Buttered Apple Cider with Rum by Once Upon A Chef

When ordinary cider meets Hot Buttered Rum (YUM!). This crowd-pleaser is easy to make and even easier to drink (we wouldn’t blame you if you went back for seconds!).

6. Apple Cider Sangria by Natalie Migliarini

The perfect transition drink! This sangria is a great way to say so long to summer and helllllooooo to fall!

7. Apple Cider Mojitos by Jo-Lynne Shane

The autumn version of a mojito? We’re drooling. These cocktails are best beside the bonfire with friends (awww).

8. Spiced Coconut Rum Cider by Bethcakes

It’s like celebrating fall on the beach! Bethcakes takes the taste of coconut and transforms it into an autumn masterpiece—we’re serious!

And for all those who love a good mocktail, these two are just for you (we promise we’d never leave you out!):

So, next time you’re at the apple orchard or the grocery store, remember to pick up some apple cider! Cheers!
